Howdy, So, I have not run mine totally down yet but charging is not real fast. It certainly takes longer than charging a cell phone. I usually set it to charge overnight and it's charged in the morning. Note: I have not actually timed charging at all but it is not a rapid charging device. Hope this helps,

Please try again later.I may have had a defective tablet and returned it to Best Buy.It was well over 8 hours and only charges in sleep mode.I would have a full charge at night and power it off and in the morning it would be on and have 21% charge.Like i said it may have been defective It was a really good tablet in every other area of operation
