Yes there is. The RAM is not soldered on, but it's a single slot.

As of now the most ram one can put on a single card is 8gb, perhaps when mooer's accounts for more you will be able to add more. Honestly 8gb is more than enough. This computer got real buggy real fast but when it was working correctly, while doing photoshop, browsing the web, watching a video and scanning for viruses, the ram never made it over 6gb full.
