Q: QuestionDoes this machine come with Word already loaded, and other Office products?

• A:Answer No, it did not. It was suggested that I purchase MS Office for $50 when I bought the unit. Based on previous experience, I thought this was a good buy. But when I installed it (using a code needed to download it, I found that this was only for a year.

Q: QuestionIs the 1TB HDD in the Yoga 14 a standard SATA3 hard drive?I would like to know If the hard drive in this machine can be replaced by any 2.5" SATA SSD drive.

• A:Answer Yes. I swapped mine out for a 840 EVO. Only the thin 2.5" 7mm drives will fit though. 9mm drives will not.

Q: QuestionStylus and Digitizer?The original ThinkPad Yoga has a stylus and digitizer option. Will the ThinkPad Yoga 14 have that option?

• A:Answer According to a Lenovo rep I chatted with today on their website, the standard model does not come with a digitizer stylus nor is the computer screen able to work with such a tool. However, a digitizer stylus and a compatible screen is available as an option for $250

• A:Answer Light office type use with some web browsing and streaming from google play = 7-9 hours of battery. Heavy web and moderate program use = 5-6 hours. Heavy program use = 5 hours. Diablo 3/borderlands 2 gaming = 2-3 hours Demanding program/rendering = 2-3 hours Hope this helps. This is also on balance profile, screen around 50%, wifi on performance, Bluetooth on, keyboard backlight off.

Q: QuestionDoes the laptop comes with a cover for the OneLink Port next to the Power Port?I noticed that the Thinkpad Yoga 12.5 does come with one, but all the picture I've seen of the 14 doesn't have this cover. Any owner of this laptop can comment on this?

Q: QuestionAnyone having problems with LCD cracking on opening?Opened the laptop from the corner and noticed on boot up that the LCD had a hairline crack across the entire LCD - Laptop less than 2 months old. (Still operation except for touchscreen.) May have something to do with transitioning from cold weather carry to boot on in warm office - but seems unusual and also seems like it would have been a design flaw caught during testing. Note: There was no incident of a drop, high-pressure, etc.; believe it is just the angular pressure of opening the laptop from one of the corners of the top (screen) lid. I can add that the LCD in this model has very little edge protection which could make the LCD susceptible to easy damage. Repair quote from Lenovo was nearly the cost of a brand new version. I was actually impressed with operation, speed, and included software unfortunately, I guess it's back to a more solid ASUS design with this Thinkpad becoming a Desktop computer.

• A:Answer There are no places for cd's or dvd's on this computer. You would have to purchase an external dvd player if you wanted to play dvd's.

• A:Answer The 940 has a slight increase in clocks and some architecture tweaks. The performance difference should be about 10% greater.

Q: QuestionDoes the screen shake during typing in laptop mode?I've heard Lenovo Yoga 2 pro hinges aren't strong enough to keep screen in place during typing when you holding this guy on a lap for example. Screen starts to shaking what could be annoying. What about ThinkPad Yoga 14? Thanks!
