“Why do the speakers keep playing when headphones are inserted?”

• There is a hardware issue that prevents the headphones from being recognized allowing the speakers to keep playing. I called Lenovo and they said I needed to send my laptop back. Since I was within the return period I took it back to Bestbuy and had it replaced. The second laptop also had the same issue. I returned it to a different Bestbuy and the third laptop worked correctly. Must have been a bad production run.
