• You need to find the product key inside the document packaging that came with the laptop. Then open MS office and it will prompt you to use a free trial or enter a product key. Make sure to choose enter a product key and enter the information from the document packaging. That should unlock your free year of Office 365.

• The product comes with a code card in the packaging to authorize installation.

• The product code comes inside box. Be carefull they kind of hide it in the box. Had to check box twice to find it.

• I received one of these as a Christmas gift - the product key for the Office subscription was included on a card in the product packaging.
