I'm going to guess that this was a typo and you are actually asking if you can load your software. In which case - yes, you can install any Windows software that is compatible with Windows 8.1. It does not come with a CD drive, though, so you will need to either use an external USB drive that has it's own power source (the built in USB does not provide enough power to power a CD drive) or share the CD drive from another computer over the network. There is also no windows CD with the device. The backup is on a hidden recovery partition on the built in storage.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.this is true for all Windows 8.1 (not RT) tablets : 1. it has it's own recovery partition so lookup recovery for windows 8.1 and you will get simple and clear instructions on how to return your machine to factory state without any media 2. if, for whatever reason, the recovery partition is bad (corrupt, you accidently erased it etc.) then simply plug a Windows 8.1 installation media on a USB flash drive and install it the normal way you would with any other PC (don't be confused - this is a NORMAL PC) 3. you can always connect a CD/DVD drive to it via USB but the question is - why...? :-)
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. If you want to reload Windows, there's a feature built in to Windows in the control panel called Recovery. You can either "refresh" Windows and keep all your programs, or you can have it restore Windows like this just came out of the box (i.e. it'll get rid of all your stuff). If you want to load other software, either download it or you can get a full size USB by purchasing an OTG (on the go) cable. You can get the cable for a few dollars.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. There is no port. It has to be loaded through the wifi. You may purchase a Wireless USB.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You'd have to load via the micro USB. There is no optical drive so CD/DVDs are not available. I suppose you might be able to find an external DVD ROM drive that uses as micro USB port and connect it that way. Most operating systems these days come as digital downloads anyway so it usually isn't a problem.
