Can you see the screen in the daylight - outside? I want something I can use while I'm outside enjoying the nice weather...but I obviously need to be able to SEE. As a writer, being outside is very inviting and inspiring. I don't always want to be cooped up in a room when the sun is shining but yet I am wanting to write!

Yes actually I've used it outside and all I had to do was adjust the lighting.

I use mine outside on my way to and from work quite regularly. I have both watched videos and read articles outside. I will admit there is a lot of glare as it's a glass screen, and you will have a hard time in direct sunlight, but sitting out on my deck in the shade and using it is a pleasure.

The screen is pretty bright, keep in mind that the glass will reflect some sunglight back... otherwise great.
