You can buy a USB "On-The-Go" adapter cable. I've found them online for just a few dollars. You plug the cable into the micro usb port on the tablet and you get a full-size USB plug on the other end. You can also add a microSD card to the tablet's microSD slot.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You would need a micro-USB adapter to attach an external drive. But you can also expand the storage with a microSD card on the back.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes, you can, if you purchase an inexpensive OTG (On the Go) USB adapter. This allows the microUSB connector on the init to become a standard, female USB port -- temporarily, while you insert a USB memory stick or external USB drive. Be careful with what you insert there. An external hard drive needs to have its own power supply. USB memory sticks are probably OK. Mine works fine.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You can add up to 64GB with a SD card slot in a panel in the back. Side ports are a mini HDMI and mini USB port. I'm not sure a flash drive would work for this. The product does come with a year of Office 365 giving a full 1TB of online storage through OneDrive. After a year that will go down if Office 365 is not renewed.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Haven't tested this yet, but I read someplace before that it won't power up an external hard drive, maybe if you try a external HDD that has it's own power source? I just bought the 64gb sd card, also the USB connection is a micro one so you would need a micro USB thumb drive.
