• I don't know the material, but it feels smooth and very responsive. The click isn't as soft as a mac, but it doesn't really matter if you use tap to click. Multi-touch gestures work flawlessly.

• Plastic, you only get a glass option on the yoga 9. It's hard to beat Mac's touchpads but this one is very responsive and accurate.
