“Someone said they use photoshop on this laptop and said it works well but when looking at requirements for photoshop it said it needs 2 Ghz or faster and this laptop uses only 1.5 Ghz max for output. Can anyone elaborate, except that Lenovo person.”

This laptop is not designed for photo or video editing. You need much more processing power than this will afford you. Don't spend your money here look at the I5 processors or higher and at least 8 gb of RAM at a minimum...16 would be ideal.
