“There are a lot of failure complaints in the first few months. Hopefully that can be dealt with by the warranty. How is it long term. Does the screen stay in one piece? Do the keys continue to function? Etc. etc. Any advice is appreciated.”

The current consumer rating for this system is 4.3 out of 5.0, based on reviews of current users. There is a 1-year limited manufacturer's warranty that covers OEM issues. The screen has a 360-degree hinge. The keyboard turns off when the system is folded back in tablet mode.

The right shift key is a little off from my comfort zone and I keep having to stretch to assure I hit the right button - otherwise I am moving the cursor upwards - but other than that, I have no complaints.
