Yes you can upgrade the RAM. There is currently 1 single channel 8GB DDR4 memory stick, with space for a second stick. The max supported memory is 16GB so you could do 8+8. Lenovo's support line has not been totally clear about whether or not self-upgrades will void the warranty, so if you are going to do it, you should reach out to Lenovo support via their website and get written confirmation from a chat log. The SSD is also able to be upgraded, and I would think the same gray area regarding the warranty exists for that as well.

The maximum RAM this configuration can support is 16GB, so a certified technician can add more RAM. The technician could also replace the SSD with a compatible SSD drive.
