No, I'm sorry this unit does not have a DVD/CD player. Most of the newer laptops / tablets do not. The manufacturers chose to remove that device because it draws too much power and these devices are lower power units. Besides ... when was the last time you used a laptop DVD drive? Most software is installed via the web these days. Movies can be streamed. If you need one, get an external USB version and use it when you need it. You'll be happier with a lighter laptop anyway.

No it does not, but you can use an external CD/DVD drive with this device by simply plugging the external CD/DVD drive into a USB port on the computer.
