- Answer No, the screen is glass and reflects a bit however, it does get nice and bright to help counteract fluorescent lighting. The glass also helps make the resolution beautifully crisp. I've noticed my older matte screens muddy the clarity.

QuestionI live in Phoenix where it gets very hot. My old laptop gets hot fast and the fan runs a lot. Does this one stay cool in hot climates?

- Answer It stays pretty cool, but in a hot environment you may need a USB laptop cooler. The cooler sits underneath the laptop and has a couple fans and works really well.
