QuestionI have only owned this new Lenovo Yoga six days and it runs really hot. I know this can not be good for the longevity of the PC. Why is it running so hot and is there anything I can do to fix it. I am not running many applications.

- Answer Open up Task Manager, Click on More Details, then look at the Processes tab. Then sort the processes by cpu usage. Lenovo has a wifi driver that doesn't play well with Microsoft Windows 10's default wifi driver. It has a weird name, find it and kill it. The Microsoft Windows 10 driver works just fine for wifi.

- Answer seems to be long lasting, 5 -7 hours browsing but with demanding applications it is just like any other computer and need quick recharge.

- Answer I'm pretty sure that the memory is soldered. I have not opened it up since it will void my warranty. But the task manager says that there are two of four slots used (as shown in this picture)

- Answer There is no built in CD/DVD drive within this system. You would need to use an external CD/DVD drive with this device to play DVDs and CDs.

- Answer Depending on 8 or 16 ram which hard drive you had? 256, 512, or 1TB. I bought it brand new 2 weeks ago for $959. Mine was 256 and 8mb ram.i-7 I Had it a week and took it back for a 920 16 mb ram 512 hard drive. The 8 not the 7 For 1299. Hope that helps

- Answer There are two possible reasons for this. (I am a customer who purchases this item, too) 1. The price $659.99 you mention likely is an open box item price. Because the actual MSRP for this type of Yoga cost way more than $850.00. So, instead of giving you an open box, the staff gave you a brand new (unopened box item) 2. $899.99 also can be the price with a GeekSquad Warranty protection plan for 1 or two years. The associate always ask if you need to add a protection plan. It is your choice to decline or accept it.

- Answer It does not work with a pen unfortunately but the screen is very adaptive to your finger. You can draw on webpages in edge but that's about it.
