QuestionDoes this model have a FLAT electric plug, as opposed to a standard plug which would stick out more? My space is limited in depth, so the flat plug is essential or the front of the unit would be off the edge of the shelf I want it to sit on.

- Answer Yes it can be! There is a lock and unlock on the right hand side lower corner of the microwave just take a Phillips screwdriver and turn it from locked to unlocked! Good luck hope that's what you need!
