- Answer The manual does not tell what size the subwoofer is but it does indicate 200 watts for the subwoofer. I did not open the subwoofer box so I don’t know the actual size of the woofer.

QuestionCan this soundbar be added to my existing surround sound system?

- Answer Depends on which sound system you are using. To be certain I would call LG customer service 1 (800) 243-0000 I got a live person after about 10 minutes in cue. The rep was very helpful and also informed me that this soundbar/woofer kit included the optical cable.

QuestionI have an LG tv. Certain shows/movies I watch , I have to switch to original sound vs 5.2. I use a Bose Solo about 5 years old . do I need new TV or New sound bar?? TV is LG 47" same age.

- Answer Regrettably, the LG 2.1ch 300W Sound Bar with Wireless Subwoofer and Bluetooth® Connectivity, Model # SK4D does not have slots that are designed for brackets that allow you to mount it to your TV. You might be able to find some shelves that you can mount on the wall right under the TV that will be able to hold the unit. These can be found at retail outlets like Best Buy or through online retail sites. ^CP

- Answer This unit will turn itself off to save electric consumption if the main unit is not connected to an external device and has not been used for 15 minutes. ^CP

QuestionIt is connected to my tv via audio optical and when I first connected it 2 days ago it worked, yesterday it would turn on but there is a slow red flashing light and no sound, I tried a hard reset a couple of times but it did not work. Any other options?

- Answer Depending on how it syncs with your tv, you may have to use either the native remote or the tv/ Bluetooth controller (phone/ tablet) to turn it back on. The red light is a passive or standby mode.

- Answer It connects to TVs via optical cable or Bluetooth; So- yes. Simply check your tv settings to select your Sound/ Speaker setup and determine which one you want to use as your primary speakers.

- Answer As I understand ARC technology it requires an HDMI connection btwn the tv and soundbar. This soundbar only works via bluetooth or optical cord. Before my purchase I called LG customer service and got a live person who verified that the soundbar was compatible with my tv. The rep also informed me that the soundbar kit included the optical cord.

- Answer Regrettably, there aren't any satellite speakers available or a Sound Bar Wireless Rear Speaker Kit available that are compatible with the LG - 2.1-Channel 300W Soundbar System with Wireless Subwoofer - Black, Model # SK4D. It does not have any provision for expanding the system with additional speakers. ^CP

- Answer Like wireless Bluetooth Headphones, the LG 2.1ch 300W Sound Bar with Wireless Subwoofer and Bluetooth® Connectivity, Model # SK4D does not transmit Bluetooth signals, it only receives them so you will not be able to pair Bluetooth Headphones with the Soundbar... ^IFV
