A:Answer David, what speaker is it not connecting to? Do you have older stereo speakers, or are you talking about your tv speakers? If the latter you don’t want them to connect to the internal speakers, you want to go into settings “sound” and turn off internal speakers and choose the option of LG Soundbar, most likely Optical out, or possible HDMI/ARC out depending on how you have it set up, I have it set up with Optical cable. I have beautiful older speakers but they won’t connect to those at they are not Bluetooth capable, plus the whole point of the soundbar is to boost the sound of your tv. You can still use your speakers, but soundbar won’t connect to them if they are not Bluetooth. I have those beautiful speakers but don’t use them anymore other than to hold my tv up and soundbar in place, the 300 watt soundbar has replaced my need for them. Hope any of this has helped.
