A:AnswerLG does not make any dishwashers that are designed for outdoor use. Like most, if not all dishwashers, the LG 24" Front-Control Built-In Dishwasher with Stainless Steel Tub, QuadWash™, 48 dBa - PrintProof™ Stainless Steel, Model # LDF5545SS is designed for installation under standard kitchen cabinets. It has to be hardwired to a dedicated, properly grounded branch circuit which is protected by a 15 A (minimum) time delay fuse or circuit breaker rated at 120 VAC, 60Hz. f an outlet and a three-prong power cord is used, it should be in an accessible location adjacent to and not behind the dishwasher and within 4 ft (1.2 m) of the dishwasher's side. The dishwasher must be connected to a to a hot water supply with a temperature range between 120 °F (49 °C) and 149 °F (65 °C). This temperature range provides the best washing results and shortest cycle time. To prevent damage to dishes, the temperature should not exceed 149 °F (65 °C). You will need to follow local codes and ordinances for the drain and you should not exceed 12 feet (3.65 m) distance to the drain. If an extension drain hose is required, use 5/8" or 7/8" inside diameter, 2-3 ft. length hose and a coupler for connecting the two hose ends...^IFV
A:AnswerThe turbo cycle is around one hour if I remember correctly. Yes this dishwasher connected very easily to my shut off valve directly without the need for a 3/8 elbow. I did connect mine directly to the leads in the whip out of the wall. My whip only contained a hot and neutral lead and the dishwasher has a third ground lead, but it is already grounded on the unit in case of this so I just put a wire nut over the ground. Works great
A:AnswerHello, this unit requires the water be at full temp to properly wash the dishes. It has a small internal water heater to assist with cycles such as sanitary. ^AC
A:AnswerHello there, Noels. Thank you for asking about your LG dishwasher (LDFN4542S). We understand you want to find the fastest wash cycle.
To get the shortest wash time, you should select the "Express" cycle on your control panel. This cycle is designed to quickly clean lightly soiled dishes. Depending on factors like water temperature and soil level, this cycle takes approximately 33 to 38 minutes. Please note that the Express cycle does not have a drying function in order to save time.

A:AnswerFirst, there is no outer shell only insulation - so a cabinet would be necessary.
Second, it is screwed to the top of the cabinet for security purposes. Also, the leveling feet are there and would make the dishwasher hard to move, if you wanted too.
