QuestionThis machine which we purchsed seems to shrink clothes every time we use the dryer even on low. It also creases clothing really badly! Any ideas?

- Answer Personally, I have never experienced any problems with this particular machine shrinking clothes. If clothes are coming out wrinkled at the end of a dry cycle, I would recommend decreasing the size of the load and utilizing the FreshCare feature. A smaller load will prevent clothes from bunching up, and the FreshCare feature tumbles clothes after the dry cycle finishes to prevent wrinkles.

QuestionI know that it is ventless, but if we plan on using this in a confined space in an rv under a bunk, I'm worried about condensation building up under the bunk and molding things. Is there a way to possibly vent this outside or a combo that you can vent?

- Answer Ours is installed in a small closet open to a bathroom. We have addressed concerns about heat and condensation by leaving the bathroom exhaust fan on while laundering. The appliance does generate heat during dryer cycles, so be sure to have clear space above and around the appliance for ventilation per the manual.

QuestionHow does this machine do with heavily greased mechanic's clothes? Also, does it wash and dry bulky items well? For example, towels, king sized comforters, jeans... What about smell? Is there a musky smell on clothes?

- Answer I do office work so I don't know about Greasy clothes. But I find it works rather well all around. But the drying function does get finicky on the size of the load. I find I have to wash/dry smaller loads. I have washed towels and other things as well. It can wash a large load, but drying needs to be smaller. I don't have a musky smell on the clothes.

- Answer It depends on the size of the blanket, when I have overloaded in terms of the dryer it has just taken longer to dry (~5 hours for a stuffed 3-4 full and on the more dry setting). It dries just fine though (as it uses a sensor to determine when it is done drying). Blanket might need to get steamed to get unwrinkled though if it is a huge blanket as one of the things that happens when you overload is things get more wrinkly.

QuestionHave had this 2 days, works great, but does lint buildup internally like it did in these machines a few years ago? I know how to clean the drain pump lint filter. But there are videos of people opening the unit because of large wads of lint inside.

- Answer Cleaning lint does require a little more effort as it will collect around the rubber ring that seals the door when closed. There is a lint filter at the bottom front that needs to be cleaned as well as a condensation hose that needs to be to emptied after a dozen loads (I use a small plastic bowl to collect the water). Luckily, this is conveniently located at the front and only takes a couple of minutes to easily perform.

QuestionThe connections for the washer and dryer in the laundry closet in my apartment are on opposite ends of eachother. To use this unit, would the connections have to be close to eachother, or does this unit just plug up to washing machine settings?
