- Answer LG does not recommend the use of a drip pan. If one must be used, take extra care to follow the instructions provided with the drip pan and make sure the leveling feet are adjusted for firm and even contact with the pan. Use of drip pans and failure to properly level the machine may result in increased vibration and noise during operation. ^Daphane

- Answer Yes, this washer does have a rinse and spin only cycle. When you select this cycle you can also adjust the spin speed. Higher spin speeds extract more water from clothing requiring shorter drying times and saving energy.

QuestionFirst, the door does not close smoothly. Is this normal? you really have to force it shut. Second, when the door is shut, it seems to have a little give and wiggles little when you pull on it gently. Is the normal? rubber part of the wheel moves too.

- Answer The ENERGY STAR® Qualified LG 4.5 Cu. Ft. 12-Cycle Front-Loading Smart Wi-Fi Washer with Steam and 6Motion Technology, Model # WM3700HWA utilizes a combination or water and steam in its steam cycles. The Steam boosts the temperature inside the wash drum, causing the fibers to relax and absorb water more efficiently releasing deep-down dirt and stains. The steam is better for cleaning power and is also better for allergies and your clothes in general. Steam washers are also said to be more energy efficient compared to regular washers. Because the cleaning is aided with steam, less water is required for each cycle. Less water means less energy used to heat it. The steam cycles also loosens wrinkles. As with any other cycle in the washer, you need to check the garment label on your clothing items to see if it can be cleaned with the steam cycle. If your dry clean only clothes aren't filthy, steaming is a great solution. At the very least, a good steaming will extend the number of wearings you get between cleanings. Many Dry Clean Only fabrics are not colorfast. Washing could destroy any beading, sequins or lace. Dry cleaning is a more gentle process and professional cleaners know how to protect those delicate trimmings...^IFV

- Answer The ENERGY STAR® Qualified LG 4.5 cu. ft. Ultra Large Smart wi-fi Enabled Front Load Washer, Model # WM3700HWA has a 4.5 cu. ft. Ultra Large Smart wi-fi Enabled Front Load Washer has a Pre-Wash Detergent Compartment (p[age 19 of your owner's manual). Add liquid or powdered detergent to this compartment when using the Pre-Wash option. Always use HE (High-Efficiency) detergent with the washer. When using the Pre-Wash option, liquid detergent for the main wash needs to be loaded in the liquid detergent cup accessory in the main wash dispenser, to prevent it from being dispensed with the pre-wash detergent. The amount of detergent added for the Pre-Wash option is 1/2 the amount recommended for the main wash cycle. For example, if the main wash cycle requires one measure of detergent, add 1/2 measure for the Pre-Wash option. Load your laundry as you would for a normal wash cycle, Use the Option Button to select the Pre-Wash option after sele3cting your desired cycle and settings. The button will light when the Pre-Wash option is selected. If the selected option is not allowed for the selected cycle, the chime will sound twice to alert you and the LED will not illuminate.
