- Answer That is the ONLY way the TV will connect properly with Alexa. The TV will NOT connect to Alexa as boxed. The remote that comes with the TV has no mic and no Alexa button. See the photos. The long remote with tiny buttons does not connect to Alexa. The photo on the TV screen is the correct remote and is NOT shipped with the TV

QuestionHow do I set this TV up to accept input from my Comcast cable box, NOT Xfinity Stream app? My TV is only letting me use Streaming for channels and won’t recognize my Comcast cable box.

- Answer I have a Shentel cable box & all I had to do was connect the box's Coax Cable to the one Coax-Compatible connection in the back of the TV. Set your TV to "Live TV", put it on "Channel 3" & see if it connects properly. The button on the top right of the remote (opposite the "power button") will show you if you're set on "Live TV".

- Answer Hello there Janey. Thanks for reaching out. You can always connect your cable box to this LG TV using a HDMI card. Unfortunately, though, you can not download the Spectrum TV app directly on your LG Smart TV. Since the LG Smart TV runs on webOS, it does not have the official support to install the app as of yet. `Jai.

QuestionCan I use my DVD player with this TV? I keep getting "no memory card" message

- Answer I had to buy a new DVD Player. This TV only has one Co-ax cable connection (in the back), which connects to my cable box. If you're using the Co-ax connection in the same way, your DVD Player will need to connect by way of an HDMI connection, which isn't available on older DVD Players. If you're not using the Co-ax for an antenna or cable connection, then an older DVD Player w/Co-ax will be fine for connecting to this TV. Just be sure you're specifying the proper mode of connection in order to have your DVD Movie show on the screen (instead of your "Live TV" connection).

QuestionI connected a Roku Stick to my TV, is it possible to use the Roku Remote as the main remote? Right now even if I use the Roku remote sometimes it goes to the main screen, which can be confusing to my dad. How do I make it simple and go right to the Roku?

- Answer Look into setting to see if you can make the roku the main input, but it might be easier without it. The Tv has a lot to view built in.

QuestionI have trouble turning the TV on. If i tcomes on to the streaming side, I often can't get it to go over to the cable side. When I hit the HD2 icom, it often justs slides off the picture, and leaves me with a black picture, or goes off.

- Answer Make sure your cable is secure in back. If its not it can unplug and turn tv off or try moving your cable input to a different source.
