I've been posting about this issue on LG forum. Moderator eventually determined it was a software issue. It was fixed in July 5, 2019 software update. It is working now. Before going to the LG forum, I did contact LG on Facebook as requested in their first answer to my question. They said mine was "broken" and gave me contact info to mail it off for repairs. I'm glad I didn't and went to the LG forum instead!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Geek squad installed my TV and sound bar, both turn on with one press on the remote. I’m not sure if there’s a special setting. I would call LG and find out, or go to your Best Buy and ask the folks there. They want you to be happy with your product. I found the documentation provided with the TV and sound bar to be very minimal. There’s some features that I don’t understand how to use based on the manual.
