QuestionWhere can I buy a replacement screw for mounting this to the wall. The screw that actually goes into the soundbar to the wall mounts.

QuestionJust purchased the soundbar yesterday. in watching a movie tonight I notice it's quite loud during a lot of scenes but the volume automatically gets considerably quieter on its own during action scenes. Is this normal? Night mode is not on.

QuestionIs there a way to mount this sound bar to Rocketfish full motion tv mount so that is moves with the tv? As of now, it is not compatible with current soundbar mounts. It would be nice to have it move with the tv!

- Answer You can mount the unit on the wall using the included mount. We would not be able to advise on the units compatibility with a 3rd party mount. ^CP

QuestionI have my lg Sl10yg hooked up to my Vizio p series hdmi arc . I’m running off a Sony 4K player ub-80x . Why am I receiving PCM signal instead of Dolby Atmos or dts signals? When I press info on the remote pcm comes up on the sound bar.

QuestionExchanged my first LG SL10YG because I thought it was defective. Only after sitting overnight (and still plugged in), it won't auto power on with TV and takes 2 presses of power button to power on. My exchanged one is doing the same thing. Any ideas?

- Answer I've been posting about this issue on LG forum. Moderator eventually determined it was a software issue. It was fixed in July 5, 2019 software update. It is working now. Before going to the LG forum, I did contact LG on Facebook as requested in their first answer to my question. They said mine was "broken" and gave me contact info to mail it off for repairs. I'm glad I didn't and went to the LG forum instead!

QuestionDoes the soundbar come with a stand for the TV that raises the TV just higher than the soundbar if you place them on a stand - some older models came with this?

QuestionI have a LG C9 65 TV and want to purchase the LG SL10YG sound bar. My concern is whether the sound bar blocks tv screen at the bottom (if I place it on the same surface )? My TV is on supplied base stand and I am not interested for wall mount.

- Answer Sadly, it does block it. I have a LG C9 and this very soundbar. Get yourself two 2x4s 20” in length. Glue them so they measure 8” x 20” stacked together. Wrap some black felt fabric and place it under the stand. It works nicely but we shouldn’t have to resort to this. Very poor design by LG.

QuestionHow do I get my LG SL10RG to play audio through arc on my LG tv? The soundbar is stuck on opt. How is it supposed to be hooked up to get the sound through arc using hdmi?

QuestionIf this sound bar has only an arc hdmi port and not and earc port how can it possibly play dolby true HD dts and Dolby Atmos with out 5.1 being compressed. Isn't earc necessary for audio playback in true dolby atmos and dts? And the c9 TV has earc!

- Answer Both the Dolby TrueHD and Dolby Digital Plus audio formats are supported in the LG SL10YG 5.1.2 Channel 570W Sound Bar w/Meridian Technology & Dolby Atmos. Dolby Atmos is supported in two codecs - Dolby TrueHD and Dolby Digital Plus. HDMI ARC does not have enough data capacity to support the transmission of Dolby Atmos content that is encoded using Dolby TrueHD, which is the format used on Blu-ray Disc and UHD Blu-ray Disc. To support Dolby Atmos over HDMI ARC for Blu-ray Disc playback, the Soundbar has to decode Dolby TrueHD and transcode it to Dolby Digital Plus before output...^IFV

QuestionWill this soundbar have in future software update the eARC feature enable? Sony alreaddy update their soundbar enabling eARC. And before any answer, you can have some features of HDMI 2.1 on an HDMI 2.0. You can enable VRR or eARC just by software.
