  • QuestionDoes it have adjustable feet? What is the maximum height you can adjust the machine? I have a washing machine drain pan (non-removable) w/interior dimensions 28' wide x 28' deep x 2.75" H. Need to know if the feet are adjustable to fit over the pan?

    Asked by Alo49.

    • Answer Hello there! We understand your inquiry about the WT7900HBA and are happy to help. The WT7900HBA does feature adjustable leveling legs, which allow you to raise or lower each corner of the washer to ensure it sits perfectly level and accommodates installation requirements. While LG doesn’t publish an exact “maximum extension” dimension for those feet, they can typically be adjusted by roughly one inch beyond their fully retracted position—enough to help fit over a shallow pan such as yours (2.75″ high). To verify that your drain pan (interior depth 2.75″) will accommodate the washer feet, please follow this step: with the washer placed on a flat surface, turn each leveling leg fully inward until it’s flush with the washer’s base (this is the minimum height). Then, gradually extend each leg just until the washer clears the pan’s rim and sits level. If you find that even the fully retracted legs sit too tall for the pan, you can use a very low-profile, non-slip washer pad (placed in the pan) to help stabilize the unit without adding significant height. Ensuring the washer is perfectly level will also minimize vibration and maintain performance. https://www.bestbuy.com/site/lg-5-5-cu-ft-high-efficiency-smart-top-load-washer-with-steam-and-turbowash3d-technology-black-steel/6329778.p?skuId=6329778 If you have any further questions—such as confirmation of exact measurements or assistance during installation—please send us a private message on Social Media @LGUSSupport so our team can explore solutions with you directly. Asked by OhioGal.

    • Answer As per the instructions under Signal on page 31 in your owner's manual for the ENERGY STAR® Certified LG 5.5 cu.Ft. Smart Wi-Fi Enabled Top Load Washer with Impeller & TurboWash3D™ Technology, Model # WT7900HBA instruct, "The washing machine plays a melody when the wash cycle has finished. When the LED on the button turns off, the signal is off. The signal volume can be adjusted at any time as long as the washer is turned on."...^Ivan.

  • Questionmy cold water option only gives hot water. How do I fix this?

    Asked by Anonymous.

    • Answer Probably sounds silly, but check the hoses are attached the the correct inlets on the rear of the washer. On cold and warmer washes if they hoses are connected the wrong way it would seem to work correctly using both hot and cold valves (even though the water is obviously too hot).

  • Questionwhat is the purpose of steam. and what exactly is turbo wash impeller or agitator?

    Asked by Anonymous.

    • Answer Steam is used to sanitise and kill little nasties like dust mites. An agitator is the post in the center of the tub and designed to drag the laundry back down to the bottom. It uses a side to side motion causing a rubbing effect. An impeller (sometimes called the wash plate) is a contoured plate at the bottom of the tub which is designed to rub the items against each other to remove stains. It is gentler the clothing while using less water. Unlike an agitator, an impellor motion pushes the washing up from the center. The turbo wash is the design of impellor or agitator that help when using the normal and speed wash cycles that use the turbo wash feature. The turbo wash setting uses more aggressive motions to wash faster. Turbo wash is availble on select other cycles. The option can save upto 15-20 minutes on the wash time and will use the spray rinse for its final rinse.

  • QuestionDoes this washer drain automatically if a cycle is altered or cancelled?
