“Does this Samsung support HBOgo? I read reviews on the previous model, and it supported Amazon/Netflix/Hulu but not HBOgo. That's one of the main reasons I'm trying to get a smart tv (plus I have a samsung phone so it's convenient).”

Yes I have used HBO Go with this smart tv.

Earlier at CES in 2015, HBO announced that is was launching a stand alone HBO GO app back in April. You can check to see if the app is available through the Google Play Store for the LG - 55" Class (54.6" Diag.) - LED - 1080p - Smart - HDTV - Black, Model # 55LF6100 if it is not showing under the Premium Content Menu...^IFV
