Everything I've read says 30000 hours before a noticeable change in brightness. You can check AVSForum for owners that have had some of the very first sets. I don't think I've seen any mention of these early OLED TVs having problems with the display degrading. People can set up the the display to look terrible, but out of the box the EF series is very good and probably only requires minor adjustments if you are very particular about having an accurate picture.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I bought one in Nov. of 2015 and in Feb. 2016 the tv went out completely. These tvs are junk, I expect to have many issues. Luckly I purchased an extended warranty and it's going to get fixed but I expect it will go out again and it was a huge waste of money.
