I tried a 'good' cable sold in Magnolia but returned it didn't see a difference. Amazon Basics are great inexpensive cables
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. All HDMI cables are basically the same but if you have a home surround sound system then you want the best sound. You should shell out the extra bucks and get the gold plated HDMI cables. That will send the best picture and sound. I use gold plated HDMI cables for gaming and watching movies so I would know first hand.

Agree with me or not, I've tested it out and my $11.99 6ft cable will give a picture equal to anything that costs more.

The safest answer on this is to tell you what the owner's manual for the LG 55" Class (54.6" Diagonal) Smart 3D OLED 4K TV w/ webOS 2.0, Model # 55EF9500 recommends. The manual recommends that you use a certified cable with the HDMI logo attached. If you do not use a certified HDMI cable, the screen may not display or a connection error may occur. Recommended HDMI cable types (3 m or less) are: - High-Speed HDMI®/TM cable - High-Speed HDMI®/TM cable with Ethernet...^IFV
