Though to be honest, I saw the 1080p on display and the picture was so good that I assumed it was the 4K Ultra.

A:AnswerThe curved screen allows viewing from the sides as well as straight on. The improved viewing angles allow me to watch my favorite shows from the kitchen via the reach-thru to the family room. For example, if you had a house full of family and friends for the big game or pay-per-view event, folks won't have to crowd one another directly in front of the set. They all could be virtually anywhere in the space and see the same picture and quality. FYI. This LG OLED is super light weight and gorgeous to boot.
