No-it is NOT resolved. I found settings below minimize it though. You can verify judder is still a problem from multiple reviews around the internet (there is one that claims the 9600's are better, but they are the same). LG seems to refuse to acknowlege nor fix the Judder problem (as you can see by their response below). Too bad, maybe it could be fixed with firmware updates. It is definitely worse on some sources than others (1080i and below seem to be worse-which of course show the upscaling isn't the best either). ALL the current LG OLED's suffer from Judder and upscaling problems. Upscaling "guesses" too often, softeningthe focus. This is not a deal breaker. HOWEVER, the Judder is very obvious on fast pans, especially if there are diagnal lines or objects in the pan. It is a shame as they are the best pictures a TV has EVER been able to reproduce. Tru Motion does NOT completely fix the problem, but makes it tolerable. Strangely, I found judder was just a little better in the "Expert" modes-maybe the lower contrast minimizes the effect. I have my TruMotion set to the user mode; Judder 2 or 3 (depending on source) and blur 8 or 9. You can also use the SMOOTH mode, but it will have SOE (Soap Opera Effect) or CLEAR (less SOE, but slightlly more judder). The judder does not bother my wife at all (though she can see it), so some people are definitely more sensitive to it than others. The pic is so nice though, I'm trying to overlook this fault but have until January 14th to return it!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. If you are referring to the motion smoothing, then no. However, with motion smoothing off the viewing experience is quite pleasurable.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes it has. It requires a USB firmware update
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. To date, we are not aware of any reports with regards to judder on the LG 55" Class (54.6" Diagonal) Smart Curved 4K OLED 3D TV w/ webOS 2.0, Model # 55EG9600, however, keep in mind that judder can be addressed by using the TV’s TruMotion feature, which, under ‘user’ option, lets you use separate controls to minimize blur and judder...^IFV
