QuestionCan this oven be lit when the power is out? I know most new ovens have an inverter that requires electricity for gas to flow but nothing in the user manual states anything about that. Anyone that actually has this oven that can test it or know?

- Answer Hey, Branden! You should not try to light the Bake and the Broil burners on the LG LG - 6.9 Cu. Ft. Slide-In Double Oven Gas True Convection Range with EasyClean and InstaView - Stainless Steel during a power outage. The range has an electrical ignition system and cannot be used without power. However, in case of a power failure, you can light the gas surface burners on your range with a match. Surface burners in use when an electrical power failure occurs will continue to operate normally. Use extreme caution when lighting burners with a match. It can cause burns and other damage. ~Rita

- Answer Hey! For the LG 6.9cu.ft. Slide-In Double Oven Gas True Convection Range with EasyClean and InstaView can bake at different temperatures in the upper and lower oven at the same time. The lower oven can also be used as a convection oven and the upper oven can be used as a broiler. ~Jai.

QuestionWhat is the input BTU? I recently purchased this oven and can't locate the input BTU. They list BTU for each burner and ovens but not the input. I need this information to see if my gas meter is large enough to handle all my gas items.

- Answer Thank you for your interest in the LG 6.9 cu. ft. Smart Gas Double Oven Slide-in Range with InstaView®, ProBake® Convection, Air Fry, and Air Sous Vide (LTGL6937F) model. The BTU input for the LG LTGL6937F gas range is not listed, but you can calculate it by adding up the BTU ratings for the 5 burners and griddle. The double oven has a total capacity of 6.9 cu. ft. with no BTU rating, but you can assume it adds significantly to the BTU input. Use the BTU rating per cubic foot of oven capacity to estimate the BTU input for the oven. Total both for an estimated input BTU, but keep in mind that it's an estimation and may differ. QuestionDoes each of the two ovens come with their own heat source? We returned a Samsung dual oven after many repairs and the biggest problem was maintaining the correct temperatures. Repair people said it was because their is only one thermometer in oven.

- Answer The oven has two readouts, One for the top and one for the bottom oven. We have cooked with both at two different temperatures without any problems. I don’t think it would only have one thermostat in this case.

QuestionMy cabinet guy just warned me to ask if the 2 ovens are also gas? He says some companies use gas on top but electric heating below? I need an all gas unit is LTGL6937D good for my situation.

- Answer They both are gas. But beware I had 2 delivered. Both times they had to be return because the top oven leaks gas. That’s an awful to wake and go it the kitchen smell like gas,,, so beware and good luck
