Q: QuestionWould I be able to install this unit in a wall opening, rather than in a window? Units that are specifically for wall installation cost more than twice as much so I was hoping a window unit would work.
Asked by CFKC.
- A:Answer I wish you would explain more. I have an existing opening in a wall that is 26" wide and 15.5" tall. Is it a physical impossibility to install this window unit in this location? Why? Thank you.

Q: QuestionSpecifications show Amperage as 4.9 amp, however, that would be RUNNING AMPS. Does anyone know what the START-UP AMPS is?
Asked by boater.
- A:Answer TO LG Representative: So you are saying that when the compressor starts up, the amps do NOT increase from 4.9 ? I find that hard to believe.
