A:AnswerMost Cox systems include generic analog channels that this tv's tuner will pick up. But you'll receive only a few channels, and most likely not in HiDef. I use a cable box with this television (with which I am extremely pleased) to get the most out of its amazing features.
A:AnswerYes, I have it hooked up with full theater setup with Sony receiver, Sony 4k player, Playstation 4, Comcast cable box, and LG TV. I control all using an older Logitech Harmony remote. No experience with fire TV however.
A:AnswerYou can purchase several kinds of wall mounts for this TV that are hidden behind the wall. Need to also consider how wires will be secured and hidden from view. Best Buy can recommend several solutions that will hide or bunch the wires neatly -- this is what the Geek squad is trained to do and they do it extremely well.
A:AnswerI still have a 55"(3D) and 60" panasonic plasma TV and still prefer them. I've tried all types of TV's in the past years but have always returned them as I prefer my plasma's. I now have the 65" LG E6 OLED in my small media room and LOVE it. Finally something as good and better than my plasma TV's. The 3D was a little tricky since I was used to "active" 3D. This TV uses "passive" 3D which has cheaper glasses that are much more comfortable but I noticed blur until I got the TV at the right angle to my view from media chairs. Though the TV is plasma like with viewing angle the 3D viewing needs to be at the correct angle vertically. It is better than plasma in many ways but I was frustrated at first at the 3D part but now I'm loving it!
A:AnswerIn my opinion, after playing around with the settings on the TV, it performs best with the "tru motion" setting turned off. Everything looks more natural.
A:AnswerThe model you choose is most likely cable / Satelite ready.. However make sure the HDMI inputs are 2.0a if you are installing DirecTV 4k channels.. otherwise it will NOT function...
