It only opens 3/4 of the way and is not designed to pull all the way don and lay flat...^IFV
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.This is a huge design flaw. The dryer door does not open to lay flat. It’s fine getting the clothes in, but a pain in the you know what getting them out. This, on top of the fact that to reverse the door to open from the correct side is also significantly harder than it should be, and does not come with all you need to do so. I was excited about this dryer, but now wish I had chosen something different.

Not sure how they did that if it's not supposed to but it did. Got home and found out it doesn't. Just crazy, I hope I don't have problems with it as this is about the fifth dryer I've had.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.This is not a design flaw. That is called “Shute mode”. So you can drop clothes in. Close the door and then there is another latch on the top left which allows you to open the door entirely from left to right. The dryer is perfectly fine!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I just bought mine. It ONLY opens partway and DOES NOT ope side to side. Now i have to pay someone to come and get the door opening side to side. Blows any savings !!! Not impressed at all!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.No - I thought the same thing, but somewhere in the book it says it only opens 45 degrees. But - this is good for a couple of reasons. Less chance someone (ie: kids) will sit or step on it, and it is actually easier to load this way. You can just drop the wet clothes and most of them slide right in with a slight shove. I find this much easier than throwing them in from the front. I'm glad it only opens part way!
