- Answer No, certainly not. It is more focussed on saving your gas and electricity. My 1 hour 10 minutes is normal time to make them normal dry in medium temp setting.

QuestionHow well does it do when you have a very small load. There is just my husband and myself but I wanted a large capacity for my king bed clothes and comforter.

- Answer small loads are perfect. It's just myself and husband. Clothes actually felt cleaner than the old Maytag top loader we had/ Cycles are much longer but there is a quick wash setting, only 30 min. At first I thought there were too many cycle options, but after I became familiar with the settings I think all is perfect. I love doing laundry now.

QuestionI am looking at purchasing the LG - 7.3 Cu. Ft. 14-Cycle Gas Dryer with Steam - White. I have an older washer, will there be a problem with the split from the washer to the dryer? Or does the kit accommodate any washer to dryer set up?

QuestionThe dryer I have now has a compartment to add water in the top for the steam option and I don't see that on this one so does it need a water line? Will it not operate without the hookup if it requires one because I have never used the steam dryer option

- Answer Yes you will need a cold water supply line to the bottom rear of the drier to use the steam function.

- Answer Ours was connected to water to work with several steam functions. Not sure if it has to be connected to water but if you don't you will not be able to use the steam functions!

- Answer As shipped from the factory, this dryer is configured for use with natural gas (NG). It can be converted for use with propane (LP) gas. Gas pressure must not exceed 8-inch (20.3 cm) water column for NG, or 13-inch (33 cm) water column for LP. ^CP

QuestionLg dryer dlgx7601we ; The gas dryer has venting access on right side but gas heater mechanism is on right and seems to block this venting location. Does this mean you can’t vent out the right side. I also only have down venting closer to front of dryer.

- Answer Your new dryer is shipped to vent to the rear. It can also be configured to vent to the bottom or side (right side venting is not available on gas models). An adapter kit, part number 383EEL9001B, may be purchased from your LG retailer. This kit contains the necessary duct components to change the dryer vent location. ^CP

QuestionThe door is supposed to open from the top and with a side hinge. Our dryer was delivered a week ago and the door opened both ways, now we can only open from the top. Is there a lock that sets it to open one way only that we set by mistake?

- Answer If you push the lever down it will only open from the top. If you just pull the door open it will open from the left!

- Answer Water supply pressure must be between 20 and 120 psi (138—827 kPa). If the water supply pressure is more than 800 kPa, a pressure-reducing valve should be installed.
