  • QuestionIs there an anti wrinkle cycle? If not, how do shirts and jeans look after the cycle and do they need ironing?

    Asked by Happy.

    • Answer The ENERGY STAR Certified LG 7.3 cu. ft. Ultra Large Capacity Rear Control Electric Energy Star Dryer with Sensor Dry, Model # DLE6100W does not have LG's Wrinkle Care option. Clothes that are left too long lying on each other after the dryer stops will come out wrinkled from the dryer. Clothes getting stuck together, inside the dryer, is a common problem and this is usually due to static electricity. In turn, this forms wrinkles on your clothes. Dryer sheets will help soften your fabrics and reduce wrinkles. No matter what type of washer you have, front- load or top-load, clothes get twisted and tangled during washing and spinning. To cut down on wrinkles you MUST untangle those clothes before they go into the dryer. Clothes need breathing room in the dryer. The tighter they are, the more wrinkly they will look when you remove them from the dryer. So to avoid this, as you remove each piece from the washer, untangle from an other piece and give it a good shake and fluff before tossing into the dryer. Not only will they come out with less wrinkles, but this will cut down on drying time as well....^Ivan

  • QuestionThis dryer’s depth is 29.5”. How much additional space is required to hook up the cord and is additional space required for the vent?

    Asked by Duffy.

    • Answer This dryer has been tested for clearances of 1 inch (2.5 cm) on the sides and rear. Recommended clearances should be considered for the following reasons: • Additional clearances should be considered for ease of installation and servicing; • Additional clearances might be required for wall, door and floor moldings; and additional clearances should be considered on all sides of the dryer to reduce noise transfer. For closet installation, with a door, minimum ventilation openings in the top and bottom of the door are required. Louvered doors with equivalent ventilation openings are acceptable. Companion appliance spacing should also be considered. ^Daphane

  • QuestionWhat setting is recommended for drying towels on autosensor? When the setting is on normal, the heat can't be changed to hot My old dryer I could pick auto sensor and any temp I wanted The only way the temp is hot is when set to heavy duty

    Asked by steve.

    • Answer Hi there! Thank you for sharing your experience with the DLE6100W. For drying towels, using the Auto Sensor setting is a great choice, as it helps to detect moisture levels for optimal drying. However, it’s recommended to use the Heavy Duty cycle for towels to ensure they dry thoroughly, as this setting applies higher heat and longer drying time. Unfortunately, the Auto Sensor feature restricts temperature adjustments for safety and efficiency.
