QuestionHow do you remove the front panel, want to check the vent hole. Dryer is not heating like it should. Dryer is 3 years old & has never heated like should, Clothes take 1-2 hours to dry. I used to always go with LG, but with this dryer no more.

- Answer It lets you use the LG App to download additional types of cycles. Don't know why it's needed since we've only used the Normal and Permanent Press functions anyway.

QuestionIm specifically looking for a hamper style door dryer. After reading questions and answers I learned that this hamper door does not open all the way. Totally defeats the purpose of why I want the door. Can someone explain ?

- Answer The hamper door drops down about halfway--45 degrees instead of going all the way flat. LG promotes this as having a ramp to load clothes into the washer. You then open it from the side (which does swing all the way open) to pull the clothes out when they're done and can have a basket in front to drop them into. It is nice to use it for wet, heavy flannel sheets or even towels because it makes them easier to load into the dryer.

When opening the door from the top in the "hamper style" mode, it is specifically engineered to open at an angle of approximately 40 degrees. This allows the door to act as a chute, making it easier to drop wet clothes into the drum without them falling onto the floor. It is not intended to open all the way down to a 90-degree or horizontal position when used from the top handle.
