A:AnswerRegrettably, the specifications for the Energy Star® Certified LG - 7.3 Cu. Ft. Smart Electric Dryer with Steam and EasyLoad Door - Matte Black, Model # DLEX8600BE, do not list an angle for the top panel on the dryer...^Ivan.
A:AnswerI also had this issue upon receipt of the unit. This occurred during the first three drying cycles. I began looking at the inside of the drum, near where the clothing was getting caught (lower front near the lint tray) and noticed a gap. I went ahead and pushed on the drum front, back, and side-to-side. I was concerned that the belt that operates the drum may have been off center initially and was causing the drum to move out-of-round. I no longer have this issue, so I believe the belt is now correctly seated.
A:AnswerHi there! Thank you for reaching out with your question about the LG DLEX8600BE Electric Dryer. We understand the confusion regarding the power requirements for this unit.
The LG DLEX8600BE Electric Dryer requires a 240V electrical connection for proper operation. A:AnswerThank you for reaching us regarding LG Dryer. Please note that the LG DLEX8600BE dryer measures 27 inches wide, but it's essential to consider the following factors when installing it through a 27-inch doorway:
• It will be a tight fit with no room for error.
• Actual dimensions may vary slightly from the manufacturer's measurements.
• The packaged product may be wider than the dryer itself due to protective packaging materials.
• Consider the depth and height of the dryer when maneuvering through the doorway.
• Don't forget to factor in the width of door frames or trim, which can further reduce the clear space.
Plan carefully to ensure a successful installation. You can download its owner's manual through this link for more information: https://www.lg.com/us/support/product/lg-DLEX8600BE.AEBEEUS. A:AnswerHello, Charles. The LG dryer model DLEX8600BE is 27 inches wide, which means it should fit through a doorway that is also 27 inches wide, provided there's enough clearance and maneuverability. As for venting, the dryer requires approximately 5 inches of space behind it for proper venting. This allows for the vent hose to connect securely without being kinked or obstructed, ensuring efficient operation. If you have any more questions or need further assistance, feel free to ask. ^Sam
A:AnswerHello there! Thank you for sharing your experience with us. We understand that you're receiving an error message stating that your vent is 80% blocked, even after having the ducts professionally cleaned. This can certainly be frustrating, but we're here to help.
There are a few things that might be causing this issue. It's possible that the venting system isn't completely clear, or there may be a blockage in a part of the system that wasn’t fully addressed during the cleaning. Additionally, the sensor inside the dryer that monitors the airflow might be detecting irregularities, even if the ducts are clean.
To assist you further, please send us a private message on Social Media @LGUSSupport, and provide us with more details about the error message you're seeing. Our team will be happy to explore the next steps with you.

A:AnswerHello there! Thank you for your feedback about the LG Model #DLEX8600BE dryer. The sloped top design of this model is intentional and serves a specific purpose:
Enhanced Airflow: The sloped design can help with better airflow and ventilation around the dryer, which aids in efficient drying and performance.
Preventing Overloading: The slope can also prevent overloading by discouraging excessive items from being placed on top, which could potentially affect the dryer’s operation or cause damage.
While the slope might seem inconvenient for storing items, you might consider using a separate storage solution or a small, non-slip mat to keep your laundry basket and detergent securely in place.
