  • QuestionWe picked up our dryer today and peeled the cardboard box from the dryer and the door is hanging from the top hinge only. The bottom hinge was never attached. Is this how they are packed or did we get a defective one? There are no screws included.

  • QuestionWe purchased this unit, but we may return it because it has a serious issue with "eating" or "catching" drawstrings on pants, shorts, or shirts and then the huge clumps of clothes get tangled in the mess. And the item is destroyed. What is causing this?

    • Answer I also had this issue upon receipt of the unit. This occurred during the first three drying cycles. I began looking at the inside of the drum, near where the clothing was getting caught (lower front near the lint tray) and noticed a gap. I went ahead and pushed on the drum front, back, and side-to-side. I was concerned that the belt that operates the drum may have been off center initially and was causing the drum to move out-of-round. I no longer have this issue, so I believe the belt is now correctly seated.

  • QuestionWhy is the top of the dryer sloped? It makes no sense. I normally store my laundry basket on top and rest my laundry detergent on top but not if I have to worry about it sliding off. I was seriously considering this unit but not with this stupid design.
