A:AnswerYes, the dryer door can be flipped. The manual tells you how to do it, but it is an involved process. My suggestion: put it in your purchase contract that the installer will do it. We didn't, the delivery people installed the washer and dryer and were gone before my wife could check the installation and remind them to change the door to open the proper way. But we shouldn't have had to tell them. Anybody can see that when the washer is to the right of the dryer, and a wall is to the left of the dryer, the door should open from right to left. It does not take a rocket scientist to see that the door needed to be reversed.
My wife called the store when she saw that the door had not been reversed. The store passed the buck and said to call the delivery people. My wife did, and they said they'd sent the crew back at the end of the day. They didn't, and we never heard anything more.
We're still annoyed with Best Buy and their delivery service, and still living with a door that doesn't open the right way. GRRRRRRR.
My advice, buy somewhere else with better delivery and customer service. I'm a very unhappy customer for sure.
