• The depth of the dryer at the top surface is 27.50" at the top. The depth at the widest point is 30.75". If dryer is vented out the rear, the minimum total depth is 35.25".

The specified depth of 29.75" (29 3/4") and 51" with the door open for the LG 7.4 Cubic Foot 8-Cycle Smart Electric Dryer in White, Model # DLE3170W are just for the unit itself as was already answered. The recommended installation clearance for the back of the unit is 5"...^IFV
