A:AnswerHi datadan. There aren't any recommended settings for the picture options for the LG 4K UHD HDR Smart LED TV - 75" Class (74.5" Diag), Model # 75UJ6470 or any TV for that matter because picture settings will vary depending on where the TV is installed. Even within the same house or apartment, the settings will vary from one room to another. That is why Calibrators will calibrate the picture for each room and for each device and the inputs that each device is connected to on the TV. There are Picture Mode Settings and Advanced Controls/Expert Controls in the TV's menu that if you have time for, can be accessed and you could attempt to do yourself. You also have customized Picture modes such as Vivid, Standard, Cinema Home, Cinema, Game etc., that take a lot of the work out that you can use. A professional calibration will ensure that you get the best picture out of your TV and is offered by the Geek Squad services at Best Buy. You might find postings online from someone with the same TV, but keep in mind that his/her environment is not the same as yours and the settings may or may not work well for you...^IFV
A:AnswerSure can, just make sure to get a mount that matches the weight and size.
Also good to keep in mind where the inputs are in relation to the bracket.
DO NOT TRY TO SKIMP ON THE MOUNT!
It's going to be relatively expensive for a mount for a tv over 65" but you get what you pay for so go with the options that the LG specialist at the store recommends.
My advice, if you're looking at this model... obviously money is a large factor, so you can sometimes find specials that BestBuy runs for mounts/ or installs when buying tv's this size. Any of these specials that they offer are "loss leaders" for the company, so they are a really good deal for the customer
A:AnswerHi bigwake. We would need some clarification on your inquiry. What makes the LG 4K UHD HDR Smart LED TV - 75" Class (74.5" Diag), Model # 75UJ6470 a "Smart TV" or any other TV, is that it has full internet access, just like a computer, that allows you to browse the internet, stream movies and shows without needing external apparatus. Which function or feature are you looking to disable?...^IFV
A:AnswerIt is a new model number.
There are SO many models that LG has made in the last couple years in the 6000-6750 model range.
They keep finding ways of making them a little cheaper for more tv, when this is done, it has to be a new model because it is different in some way.
I will say that the higher the number in the model, the better the TV.
I got an LG 4K tv like a year and a half ago now, it was same situation, no ratings, it was like a 6650 (I think) model. I am for the most part satisfied with it.
The only time it is lacking is when there is more than 100 or so things moving on the screen at once. Image blur occurs at this point.
In the TV's defense... there wasn't any better quality options in that size bracket, for a better quality TV. The only way to avoid image blur is to have a more powerful processor
