Other than guns and explosions being less impactful you probably won’t hear much difference. Also while E-ARC on hdmi 2.1 will pass uncompressed atmos most of the sources that this TV uses are still using Dolby digital plus which is still compressed. So until there is a source that streams true HD atmos E-ARC is just there to future proof.
