    • Answer Hello there! The LG S95TR Soundbar is designed to optimize surround sound placement using its AI Room Calibration feature. While the rear speakers are intended to be placed behind the seating area, mounting them on the ceiling can still work. The calibration tool will analyze the speaker positions and adjust the audio output accordingly.     • Answer As you may or may not know, the 2024 LG Magic Remote, Model # MR24GN, is the same magic remote that comes with the LG C4 77-inch Class OLED evo AI 4K Smart TV 2024, Model # OLED77C4PUA, and with all other 2024 LG OLED TVs and other select LG TV technologies that are compatible with it, or as an optional alternative for LG TVs that come with a standard remote control but are compatible with the remote. As you have noted, the Magic Remote does NOT have backlighting. It is a Bluetooth device and like other LG Magic Remotes, as a Bluetooth device, it has a heavy battery consumption which is one of the reasons it does not have backlighting. IT will operate some of the functions on the LG 9.1.5-Channel S95TR Home Theater Soundbar with Wireless Subwoofer and Rear Speakers, Dolby Atmos®, WOW Orchestra - Black, Model # S95TR, when you set up the Universal Remote Control settings in the TV, which allows you to control peripheral devices connected to the device with the Magic Remote instead of their own remote controls...^Ivan.
