“Height to Top of Case 68 7/8" does t The specs list the Height to Top of Case as 68 7/8" but one picture shows a compression unit of top of the fridge....is this included in that height? I need to know if this will slide under my cabinet and if that compression adds an additional inch or two, that will make a difference whether it fits. Can someone verify whether that compressor adds height and what the total height is to slide under a cabinet?”

Hello Em. Your inquiry with regards to the height of the LG - Door-in-Door 21.6 Cu. Ft. Counter-Depth Side-by-Side Refrigerator with Thru-the-Door Ice and Water - Stainless-Steel, Model # LSC22991ST is appreciated. What you see on the top of the refrigerator that has you concerned is not a compression. It is a tray or drawer that for some reason was placed on the top of the refrigerator when the picture was shot. The only 2 heights you need to be concerned about are those for the height to the top of the Case which you already have as 68 7/8" and that of the unit to the top of the hinge which is 70 1/4". Depending on how high your cabinet is, if it is less than that of the unit's height to the top of the hinge, then your only concern is if the 68 7/8" height to the top of the case can slide under your cabinet and how far it will slide before you encounter the hinge. You should have some idea on how far that would be from looking at the same image that clearly shows the hinge...^IFV
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I had to return this unit because the electrical panel is mounted on the top rear of the fridge, not the back as with most models. This made the overall height of this unit OVER 68 7/8. If you do not have at least 70+ inches of clearance, do not buy it.
