A:Answer You may be experiencing the same issue I've had with the LG Tone headphones (HBS-730).... LG has a manufacturing defect in that the Power switch used to turn these units Off/On frequently malfunctions. There are many times when I'm finished using my headphones (power ON), move the power switch to the OFF POSITION, and the headphones stay powered ON (Blue power light blinking). This is also confirmed by the phones still having a Bluetooth sync to my cell phone.
I've had my headphones replaced thru warranty twice - and the same issue exists (confirmation of a manufacturing/quality issue with the power switch). I've called LG Customer Service and they were no help (deaf ears). I wish LG would tell us that the power switch has been redesign/fixed and in which models. Otherwise I will not buy their product (too frustrating evertime I want to turn off my earbuds!). Additionally, the battery drains if the power stays on,... and if you get an incoming, or place a call it's confusing because the call goes to the earbuds but you expect calls to be directed to your cell phone ear speaker (thought earbuds were turned off).
LG - what's the status of your Power switch?? Such a simple thing to fix.
