A:AnswerCheck Monoprice, they might have an Analog to Digital Converter that might do this. I have one that does the opposite (optical to analog stereo that works well).
A:Answer120v at 60HZ, but sounds more like a 120 HZ crossover in person (you can lightly hear voices). I do not know the speaker size, but guessing 6" from the external dimensions.
A:AnswerTry moving the subwoofer closer to the sound bar. ALso, decrease the number of items between the 2 devices as this will also have an impact on the wireless function. If it continues to cut out, then contact LG to find out how to do a factory reset. There is a small button on the back of the subwoofer, but I'm not sure if there is a reset on the sound bar too.
A:AnswerThat will depend on how you connect other devices to the LG 320W 2.1ch Sound Bar Audio System with Wireless Active Subwoofer and Bluetooth Connectivity, Model # LAS551H. When you first turn both the main unit and the wireless Subwoofer on the first time, they will automatically connect. They can also be manually paired. To pair this unit with other Bluetooth devices, this unit needs to be visible on the device that you are pairing it with and you will be prompted to enter a pin code to complete the pairing. Your speakers probably can be paired to other devices that you can search for the speakers on and enter a pin code to complete the pairing as well, but you will not be able to pair your Bluetooth speakers to the LAS551H because neither one has that capability. Both can be connected to other devices that allow you to search for speakers or Sound Bar and enter the pin code. What you can have happen is to have the Bluetooth signal streamed from the same device to both the LAS551H and your Bluetooth speakers simultaneously even though they cannot be paired together, but that would not be surround sound. Surround sound sends specific signals to specific speakers and in this case, all you would be doing is sending the same stereo signal to 2 pairs of speakers. The LAS551H is also capable of connecting to your Home Network and allowing you to play from other devices that are connected to that same network via WiFi. If you had other speakers that were capable of WiFi connectivity, you might be able to create a 5.1 channel system, but that would depend on the other speaker's features and capabilities...^IFV
A:AnswerIf your rear surrounds are already wired, I'd say to go with a wired system. You will get more bang for your buck that way as you can get a powered sub that is a _lot_ more powerful than the one in this kit. While this isn't a bad kit, it's certainly not audiophile grade. You will always get better sound from a wired setup as it doesn't have to convert the sound to some compressed digital format to send to the speaker to then convert it back to analog to actually be played by the speakers.
My advice, if you can go wired, do that.
A:AnswerYour tv remote will control the sound bar also but won't turn it off, just lower or higher the sound. Buy the Rockfish digital output cables, there very great for the price and you'll have great sound.
A:AnswerI noticed some materials in between the soundbar and subwoofer or placement of the subwoofer and proximity can affect the volume of it greatly. I had same issue, placed it somewhere else and works fine now.
A:AnswerNot a battery powered system, both sound bar and subwoofer are plug in. I would only place it outside on a temporary basis, nothing weatherproof about it.
