- Answer Absolutely . Routers are universal devices and they only talk the language of internet irrespective of the country they are being used. Do check if the voltage in Mexico support the input/ output on this router.

QuestionI have had this new router for 2 weeks and now my dropcam cuts out for roughly 15 minutes several times per day. Deal breaker. This rarely happened with my old router. Firmware on router is updated. It’s using 2.4 GHz. Looks like I will return this.

- Answer I think that with the initial setup, a computer is required. It's also much easier to do on a laptop or desktop than a phone any way. After that, you can monitor network and make any changes through phone app.

- Answer It doesn't really work on windows 10 or any other computer. It works by plugging into another network or connecting to another networks wifi signal. You simply access the router with a web browser for configuration, which in my case in chrome on windows 10.

- Answer Yes, you need an internet plan, though it could be cable, DSL, or even satellite, if you want internet access. If you just want to set up an internal network between various home systems and printers, you can us this product for that as well.

- Answer It doesn't give wifi service, rather it reuses and existing wifi connection (and provides encryption and your own SSIDs) .

QuestionHow many devices can be on the router?

- Answer Hardwired: there are 4 Ethernet ports on the router. So you can have 4 devices hardwired. Or if you daisy-chain routers (like I do) this uses one of the ports, but gives you 4 more. You can do this as much as you want. Wireless: It should easily be able to handle 6 to 8 devices, but much depends on what they are doing. If you have 4 devices streaming movies at one time you might have a problem... but compared to older routers that I have been replacing it is much better. I have not seen any problems, but I do not think I have had more than 6-8 devices on at one time.
