QuestionI assume that when connected it will show current wifi name with an EXT. Will laptops, Tivo stream, etc connect automatically to the best signal or will I have to manually connect devices to the regular wifi and wifi ext?

- Answer They will connect but they will ask for you to put in your password for your internet after that they will contact automatically without singing in

QuestionI would like to put a wifi camera in my goat house its maybe 1100ft from my house. But no connection overthere. Is this device enough to make better range in that distance or what can I use, is there something useful for me.

QuestionCan the antenna be separated from the unit and placed though a wall with a cable?

- Answer The antenna is fixed to the booster. However if you want to place a lan wire through the wall to a computer it will pick the signal up on the other-side and you can hook up your equipment up on the inside

QuestionWill it work on Bluetooth? I know the freq band is the same as WiFi, but no passwords are used. I read the first 3 pages of questions here, but didn't find anything. TY

- Answer Don't think so, tried finding it on bluetooth and did not see it there, I suggest anything you connect to your network should be password protected for your own security. Hope I got to help.

- Answer Hi Leo! It will not work with a mobile hotspot. One of the requirements when setting up the RE6300 is an existing Wi-Fi.

QuestionDo you have to sign in and out of this network/extender each time or is only once for the initial setup? I'm on my home wifi but I need a boosted signal in the back room. I don't want to have to sign in and out of this booster when I come/go from the room

- Answer Hi, JenB. After setting it up successfully with your main router and have your devices connected to it, there should not be a requirement to sign in and out to the extended network.
