If it's not a "smart TV", you'll need a "streaming stick" type of device, like a Chromecast to stream content from your PC to your TV.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. There are multiple ways to accomplish this. If your wireless desktop is a mac, then I would suggest apple TV, if it is a PC then I would suggest a device like Chromecast.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Depending on what you want to stream, a Chrome Cast works very well and is simple to set up. With it, you can stream your Chrome browser to your TV. Needless to say, you must have Chrome installed on your Desktop AND be connected wirelessly to your network. Netgear also sells a Push 2 TV device which I have not used.

If it does, simply run an HDMI cable, autodetect monitors, set it as the primary, and then disconnect the current monitor if you'd like. Simple as that. If you don't have an HDMI out, honestly, it would be more trouble than it is worth, get a new desktop.
