“I have a Linksys Velop Mess system and one of the 3 nodes in my basement, and still my wifi signal is very weak (in my basement). I was wondering if a WHW0101P plug-in wifi extender would work better or does it work just like the nodes. thanks, Dave”

• I would not replace anything with this but add it to the soft areas which is how it was intended. That's what I did and using the app it was amazing to see how many devices connected to it versus trying to get signal through beams, foundation walls, metal appliances, etc...

• Hi, lehmandave. The Linksys Velop Mesh WiFi Extender works like a child node but it can extend your Velop mesh network up to 1,500 sq. ft.
